Launch of Spotontrack 3 - a new chapter
We're excited to announce that after months of development and testing, Spotontrack v3 is now officially live and available to all users!
A fresh foundation for the future
Since many of you have already been testing v3 over the past three months, you've had a chance to see how we've been carefully rebuilding our platform from the ground up. This wasn't a decision we took lightly, but as Spotontrack has grown from a simple Spotify analytics tool in 2016 to the comprehensive multi-source platform it is today, we found ourselves at a crossroads.
Our previous version, while reliable, was beginning to limit how quickly we could implement new ideas and features. By starting fresh with v3, we've created a more flexible foundation that will allow us to grow alongside your needs in the coming years.
What's different in v3?
Most of the features you know and love have made their way into v3, though you might notice a few differences. We've carefully evaluated each component of our platform and focused on migrating the most essential tools while setting aside some less-used features to revisit them in a better way.
This streamlined approach means we can now deliver:
- Regular updates to continuously improve your experience
- Larger feature releases planned throughout the year
- A more responsive platform built to handle our growing data needs
In this new version, we already shipped a brand new dashboard that will give you a better overview of all your tracks, we hope you will like it.
Transitioning to v3
As of today, V3 is the default experience when you visit spotontrack.com. For those who need a bit more time to adjust, the previous version will remain accessible at legacy.spotontrack.com until the end of March.
Your feedback matters
This release is just the beginning of a new chapter for Spotontrack. We see v3 not as a final destination but as the first step in our ongoing evolution. Your insights are invaluable in shaping what comes next.
